I currently work at the Central Bank of Ireland, in the International Relations. Before joining the Central Bank I was a Max Weber Post-doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute, where I was affiliated to the Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa Chair at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. Previously I had been at Università di Milano-Bicocca and joined the Fiscal Policies division of the European Central Bank as a PhD-level trainee.
I hold a B.A. and MSc from Bocconi University, and the ASP certificate from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. I was awarded my PhD in Trinity College Dublin, where I wrote my thesis “Empirical Essays in Fiscal Policy”, under the supervision of Professor Philip R. Lane.
My research interests are in the field of International Macroeconomics, Fiscal Policy and Fiscal Federalism, and International Finance.
